On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Theodore "Brian" Boyd, loving husband and  father of six children, passed away at the age of 57 in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Brian was born on November 9, 1963, to Ted and Barbara Boyd.  He was joined in Holy Matrimony to his wife Briggette Boyd on March 12, 1993. He served his country as a serviceman in the United States Army, where he took joy in traveling the world.  He also enriched his family with an endless supply of memorable laughter.

Brian's passion for life included countless friends, who grew to admire his remarkable intelligence and wit.  He was the student, who would consistently get A's on tests without studying.  Brian took joy in landscaping,  where he transformed ordinary yards into fields of beauty.  Cooking remained a constant for Brian.  It was commonplace for him to prepare delicious meals for his family.

Brian’s life is being celebrated, as he would not want his family and countless friends to see his passing as a day of sorrow. His Spirit will continue to resonate with an abundant supply of memories filled with laughter and joy.

Brian will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Briggette Boyd; children, Theodore Brian Jr., Brandon, Mary, Amber, Marcus and Stacia; mother, Barbara Boyd; grandchildren, Quinton, Maliyah, Riley, Kaliyah, Donovan;  sister, Karen Boyd Beamon (Kelvin); brother, Darren Boyd (Deneen); mother-in-law, Martha Brown; sister-in-law, Bridget Brown; nephews, Duane, Antione; nieces, Natasha, Breena, Gloria, Destiny, Summer; extended family, Doris Elliot, Charles and Elaine Dairo; Eddie Fitzpatrick, Diane Pullins, Roberto Lee House and a host of other relatives and friends.

My deepest sympathies to Brian‘s wife and all of his family. My family has also suffered loss at Christmas time so we understand your grief.
My first thought when I heard about Brian was, that is a funny guy.
Thinking of him made me laugh and brought joy to my heart. I know he will be greatly missed and we all know he went home to Glory and we shall see him again another day. To Dearest Barb, my mother (Beverley)loved you and so do we. Be well all of you. God’s grace is sufficient. Nesa
