A Brief Sketch of His Life

David Dyon Mays was born February June 11, 1997, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of Mack Mays and Cathy Spells.

Some of the things David loved to do was rap, eat up everything, and make everyone laugh. He also wanted to be a great dancer. Going live of Facebook was one of his favorite   hobbies.

David Dyon Mays departed this earthly life on April 14, 2024, at the age of twenty-six years, ten months and three days.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mack Mays.

He is survived by his son, Jaiden Lovett’ Alvey; his mother, Cathy Spells; his siblings, James Huspon, Justin Jones, Shirley Jones, Kenneth Davis II, Kennedra Covington, Jalynn Mays, Shaunie Mays, Christy Mays, and Mack Mays III; and a host of other relatives and friends.

David was the goofiest person ever

Always in an astonishing mood 

Very determined to be a honest person

Itching to make everyone smile 

Didn’t care about who was around 

Keeping you alive with love and laughter 

Inside the clouds, watch over us brother 

Never forget you are loved 

Gates are opening for you

Many people cherished you 

Accumulating moments and memories 

You are at peace 

So fly high protecting us forever
