Sean David Hunter was born on April 17, 1966 to Lorraine Bettis Hunter Black and the late Ronald Lawrence Hunter in Brooklyn, New York. He was the older of two children.
He graduated from August Martin High School, in Jamaica, Queens. He attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. Soon after college he worked in the Bettis family business, B&B Cabinets in New York. He later found his career as an aircraft mechanic, Line Maintenance Manager, for Northwest Airlines in Minneapolis, Minnesota, ending his career with Boeing in the state of Maryland.
Sean was a loving father to his 3 children and the fun, loving uncle to his nephew and nieces. Sean’s personality brought high energy to every event he attended, whether it was with family at Christmas, at a wedding, or just hanging together and playing cards. He grew up loving football, basketball and bowling. From a young age, he would spend every weekend participating in a bowling league where he learned the skill to become what he called a “Master Bowler”. He was a self-proclaimed expert on everything, if he didn’t know something he made sure he researched until he was knowledgeable enough to master the task and convince you he had experienced it himself.
Sean loved his family and friends and always made himself available for others when needed. He had a way to make everyone enjoy his fun loving personality when around him, just like his father, Ronnie. God has definitely prepared a place for him in heaven where Sean is now with his father, Ronnie and other family members to continue the love and laughter we knew them for.
Sean leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Lorraine Hunter Black; step-father, John Black; children Jazmine Holliday, Jaylen Hunter, and Malik Hunter; sister Rene Withers (Anthony); nephew, Marvin Watford; nieces, Miyah Watford and Malia Withers; great-niece, Amara Watford; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

I want to let the family know I am thankful and grateful for the times I had with Sean. When he came into my life he instilled morals, values and gave love and compassion to me and my two sons. As the mother of Sean's youngest son, Malik I will forever remember the wonderful man and father he was to all 3 of my sons. I send my deepest condolences to the family and will forever have a sincere love for Sean.

Hey Uncle, I wanted to come home just for you but everyone said you wouldn't want me to miss any games. You were one of my biggest fans and you made sure to also tell me how proud you are. I'm really lucky to be able to have an uncle that's my best friend. Its sad I won't be able to pick up the phone and hear "what's up thot" when I answer it. It will be sad not hearing you smack on your food at thanksgiving or make any noises at that. I wish we could've went out together one last time. I know you're always going to be with me for every single game Uncle. Every game is for you Uncle Sean. I love you always and forever ❤️
