Celebration of Life and Legacy

Korrie Lynne Parrott was born the daughter of Sherrie Lynne Tipton and William Keith Parrott on January 12, 1981 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Korrie attended the Public School System in Indianapolis and graduated from Arlington High School. She confessed her love for Jesus Christ at a young age. She attended college briefly then decided to work in the Retail Industry.

Her love for fashion initially led her into retail.  Korrie spent over 20 years in Retail Management at a local clothing store Rainbow Fashions.  More importantly than her love for fashion was her love for family, especially her beloved children; daughter, Kira Nyree Markey and son, Joshua Joel Turner, Jr.  When she spoke of her children her face lit up and you would hear an exciting tone in her normally quiet voice.

Korrie Lynne Parrott departed this life June 6, 2020 at the age of thirty-nine years.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Lynne Tipton Elliott in July of 2018 whom she loved dearly and missed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory  two children, Kira Markey and Joshua Turner Jr.; father, W. Keith Parrott; step mother, Sonya Parrott; two sisters; Kaesey Smith and Pavielle Dance; five brothers; Keith Parrott Jr., Kyle Parrott, Blake Parrott, Steve (Devonna) Malichi, Chad (Victoria) Malichi; special auntie, La’Shawn Davis and special friend, Ronald Terry.

2 Timothy 4:8 NIV

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day- not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
