Paul H. Glaspie, son of Mose and Marian Glaspie, was born on January 12, 1949, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Paul  came into the world with very limited vision, but God had a plan for him. Paul graduated from Arsenal Tech High School and went on to attend Indiana Central College on a full track scholarship. Upon graduation, he got married and moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to work in the public school system. Out of this marriage came his daughter, Kathy.

Paul had accepted Christ at an early age and went on to become an ordained minister under the mentorship of his late grandfather Rev. Richard Gregory. Paul  preached his first sermon at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, where his grandfather was the pastor. He would eventually go on to pastor churches in Ft. Wayne and Indianapolis.

Paul loved sports and he loved people. He never met a stranger and would give his last to help any person in need. Paul  returned to Indianapolis in 1990, and he began working for the State of Indiana and Goodwill Industries as a Case Manager.

Paul remained employed until his illness would no longer allow him to work. At the time of his passing, he worked for the Lowe's Repair Call Center, where he was affectionately known to his coworkers as Mr. Paul to some and Dad to others.

Paul  quietly departed this life on November 21, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospice Facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those who preceded him in death included his grandparents, Rev. Richard and Louise Gregory, as well as his     parents, Mose and Marian Glaspie.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Glaspie; brothers William Glaspie (Marie) and David Glaspie (Marcia); companion, Catherine Unseld, many nieces and nephews, other cherished loved ones, coworkers, church family and many friends.

Paul will be missed in the world of the living. He was very special to so many.Especially at our place of employment at Lowes Contact Center. I recall first meeting him he was so gracious and polite. He loved to joke. I recall he and our supervisor would tell everyone each day it was my birthdyay at work and everyone would tell me happy birthday. I will miss his laughter .
