Mrs. Sharon Denise Tucker-Douthitt, the daughter of  Charles and Anne Tucker, was born on August 26, 1955, in  Indianapolis, Indiana.

She completed her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System.  Sharon graduated from Emmerich Manuel High School.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Sharon was baptized and joined the Messiah Missionary Baptist Church.  In later years, she united with Pathway Missionary Baptist Church.

Sharon  embarked upon her career at William N. Wishard Memorial Hospital.  She continued her career with Methodist Indiana University Health from which she retired in 2017.

She united in Holy Matrimony to Artesia Douthitt, Jr. on May 28, 2009, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at Pathway Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

On May 19, 2019, Mrs. Sharon Denise Tucker-Douthitt departed from this earthly life,  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Tucker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Artesia Douthitt, Jr.; two sons, John Jones, and Joshua Blount; two grandchildren, Mercedes Johnson and Nya Jenkins; four stepchildren, Aretha, Contina, Artesia, and DaKota; six step-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; sister, Regiana, sister-in-law, Samra Tucker; brothers, Charles (Carla), Paul, Joseph, and Robert (Sheryl); best friend, Joyce Washington.

Hello,,I am so sorry to hear of your loss.The death of a loved one is such a difficult time for the entire family.It is my hope that you can find comfort in Gods Word The Bible at john chap 5 ,verse 28 and 29. This scripture helps us to appreciate,that one day in the near future we can see our loved ones whom we have lost to death. I am confident that this scripture and other verses in the Bible will provide some solace,comfort and relief during this time of sorrow.....Again my deepest condolences......Charles Holliman

So sorry for your loss. I worked with Sharon and she always had a smile on her face and was always so kind. She will be missed!
