Yolanda Elaine Bailey was born on August 9, 1976, to John Douglas Bailey, Sr and Margo Elaine Duerson Bailey, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Yolanda affectionately known as "Londie" attended Indianapolis public schools, as well as the Detroit public schools, where she attended the infamous Cooley High School.  “Londie” accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mount Zion Apostolic Church as often as she could.

Londie” enjoyed life to the fullest, spending time with her family; especially her sons (they were her world) and her friends.  Yolanda loved to laugh and dance to whatever music was playing at that moment. “Londie” gave a smile to everyone she met; she was that sunshine on a cloudy day for so many people.  If she did call you "ugly" (a funny term of endearment that she continued from her father, John, Sr.), it meant that she did really vibe with you.  Londie” joined the Ladies of Loyalty Social Club of Indianapolis, Indiana on April 6, 2018, and was given the club name "Yella Girl".  She received her club vest on June 3, 2018, and became the business manager of Ladies of Loyalty in October of 2018.  “Londie” truly enjoyed being a member of LOL and growing bonds with her Club Sisters.

On Sunday, April 7, 2019, the gates of Heaven opened and God stretched out His arms to welcome “Londie” Home, at the age of forty-two years, seven months and twenty-nine days.

She was preceded in death by her son, DeMario Bailey; father, John D. Bailey, Sr.; mother, Margo E. Bailey; brother, William Ernest "Ernie" Bailey and her sister, Tasha A. Bailey.

Yolanda leaves to cherish her memory her five wonderful sons, DeAirius R. Bailey, Demetrius M. “Meaty” Bailey, Dae'Shawn L. Echols,     Damien “Fat Daddy: Lee, Jr. and Joseph “JJ” Bailey; siblings, John D. Bailey, Jr., Roy C. (Erica) Allen, Terrance L. Allen, Sr., Frederick L. Allen, Deine “Tweetybird” Bailey, Darlene Burk, Darwin Burk, Rhonda Tinsley and Lena Pryor; her very special cousin, Luciana "China” Duerson, who was also like a sister, a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, family and many, many friends.
