Mr. Anthony “Tony” Floyd, the son of Bennie Floyd and Ophelia Willis, was born December 31, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana. 
Anthony attended Indianapolis public school #26, #91, #101 graduating from Broad Ripple High School.
Anthony accepted Christ later in life while attending Breeding Tabernacle C.M.E. Church under the pastoral ship of Rev. Arthur McClendon, Jr.   Anthony had a love for gospel music that was soothing to his spirit.
Anthony began his work career working odd jobs, but later gained employed with Link Belt. 
Anthony dearly loved his family and friends and he was known for giving nicknames to those close to him.  During the difficult time that Anthony faced, he had a very positive attitude concerning his illness and surrounded his self with the love of his family and friends, cherishing each moment.
Anthony’s absence will not go unnoticed, especially his upbeat personality.  He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Anthony Floyd departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the age of fifty-two years old.   He was preceded in death by his father, Bennie Floyd, daughter, Melanie; Grandmother, Sarah Williams, and uncle, Herman Young.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Antonio Floyd, Toni “Shug” Floyd, India Floyd and Marissa Floyd; two grandchildren, Da’Naria Washington and D’Amari Washington; his mother, Ophilia Willis; two brothers, including Kevin Long, Jazz Wright, Kevin Floyd, Eric Floyd; his adopted sister, Kim Gaither; sister, Lisa Session (Ricky);  aunts, Mariann Johnson (Euranus) and Francesca Floyd; an uncle, Wick Floyd, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
