Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Ingram Etheridge the daughter of Benjamin Harris Ingram and Queen Esther Slayton Ingram was born March 28, 1933 in Union City, Tennessee.
Margaret received her primary and secondary education in the local area schools of Tennessee.
Margaret professed her hope in Christ at an early age with the Church of God In Christ.
Margaret was a housewife.  She set the foundation for a welcoming home with her warm and inviting spirit.   She loved to cook.  Cooking brought the family together.  Seeing her children together was her greatest joy.
Margaret was a loveable person.  She was called “Mama” by many, she was known for her cooking and generosity.  She would always cook more than enough; her thought was you never know who’s going to stop by.  She never refused to feed anyone who was hungry or just wanted a plate of her good food.
Margaret will be sadly missed.  Her smiling face and warm spirit will forever stay in the hearts of the people who loved her.
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Ingram Etheridge departed this life on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the age of seventy-nine years two months and six days.  She was preceded in death by her husband; and two daughters.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Gloria Etheridge, Mary Sutton (Rodney), Pamela Gillenwaters (Ernest), Cheryl White (Willie) and Janice Bradley; sons, Wardell Etheridge, Duane Etheridge (Deborah) and William Etheridge; fifteen grandchildren;  eighteen great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley  Hampton;  brothers, Joseph Ingram, James Ingram (Brenda) of Union City, Tennessee, and Henry Ingram (Mary); sisters-in-law, Mary Lou McCullam, and Laura Etheridge of Beloit, Wisconsin and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
