William Anthony Scisney, Sr. was born on June 25, 1967, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late William Verdes Scisney and Ann Marie Scisney.
Affectionately known as “Big Tony” by family and friends, William was educated in the Indianapolis Public School system. He attended IPS School #44 and graduated from George Washington High School in 1985, where he ranked at the top of his class and received multiple awards recognizing his exceptional artistic talent.
William dedicated more than 40 years of service as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk with the Foundry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment.
From an early age, Tony enjoyed playing basketball with family and friends and continued to develop his natural artistic abilities. He will be fondly remembered as an intelligent and honest man whose genuine spirit and uniquely twisted sense of humor drew people to him. As an adult, he found joy in fishing, football, basketball, and strategy games such as dominoes, DAD, and Jeopardy. He also loved spending time with family and friends, sharing a beer, cracking jokes, and nurturing his lifelong passion for art, drawing, and sculpting. Truly, his was a life well lived and deeply cherished.
