Velma Rose Millbrook, the daughter of Ned Lee Millbrook, Sr. and Catherine McDowell Millbrook Belton, was born April 4th, 1953, in Inverness, Mississippi.
Having relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, Velma received her elementary education at School #56. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1972.
Velma was employed by Micro Metal. She worked for twenty-eight years, until her retirement.
Velma enjoyed cooking and singing. Her most precious moments were spent with her family.
God called Velma Rose Millbrook Home on Thursday evening, February 12, 2026. She was 72 years of age.
Velma was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Robert L. Millbrook, Ned Lee Millbrook, Jr., Johnny B. Millbrook, Sr., and Tony Millbrook.
Velma is survived by three brothers, David Lee Millbrooks, Allen (Tamara) Millbrook, Ronnie (Tawanda) Millbrook; seven sisters, Robin Millbrook, Florine (Norman) Love, Kathy (WWilliam) Bradley, Francine (Paul) Harrison, Paysy (Paul) Pettus, and Angeline (Freddie) Thames; one sister/niece, Teresa (Leonard) Millbrook; very special niece, Nicole Gibson; bonus brother, Gary Goodner, loving friend, Ivory Dale Blakemore and a host of nieces and nephews.
