TOSHA RENEE WILLIAMS

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we celebrate the life of Tosha Renee Williams, who departed this life on June 21, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on February 16, 1974, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tosha lived a life filled with laughter, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.

Tosha received her education through Emmerich Manuel High School before continuing her studies in Nursing at Ivy Tech Community College. She dedicated more than 35 years of faithful service to IU Health, where she built a respected career caring for others. She concluded her distinguished career in the IU Health Network in the Neuroscience Department, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, kindness, and commitment to her patients and co-workers.

Those who knew Tosha knew that she loved life. She enjoyed going to the drive-in theater and the movies, listening to all genres of music, and dancing whenever the opportunity arose. Her signature "chair dancing" could always bring smiles and laughter to those around her. Tosha had a wonderful sense of humor and loved cracking jokes, making everyone around her laugh. She treasured spending time with her family, reading and writing, and never passed up a cold glass of her favorite, chocolate milk.  Red was her favorite color, reflecting the vibrant personality she shared with everyone she met.

Above all, Tosha's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring daughter, sister, aunt, and faithful companion whose love and support will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving father, Gilbert Mathews; her beloved children, Cierra Williams (Donovan) and Aaron Williams; her cherished grandchildren, Donovan, Jr. "Dooder", Aaron, Jr., Arianna, and Kiyon "Stinker"; her loving significant other, Aaron Garrett; her brothers, Vernon Devin (Donyae) and Gilbert (Tina); her sisters, Tammara (Jasen), Tunisha, Takisha, and Jayha, along with a host of nieces and  nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, dear friends, and all who loved her.
