Timothy Owen Henderson was born to Wilson Henderson and Alice B. Henderson on January 6, 1962. He was their youngest of seven children.
Tim accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. G.M. Mimms at Bethesda M.B.C. Tim later became a member of Traveler’s Rest M.B.C. He served as an usher at Traveler’s Rest until illness. He faithfully attended worship services.
Tim attended Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Northwest High School in 1980. Tim played football and ran track at Northwest. He attended Ivy Tech Community College and earned an Associates degree in Human Resources.
Tim united in marriage to Stephine Sanford on June 29, 1991.
Tim worked at the Alfa Home Nursing facility. Then Tim worked at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis in maintenance for 18 years.
Tim was known for hard work and dedication. He loved to do lawn care with cutting grass meticulously. He was told he resembled actor Morris Chestnut
Tim loved to watch sports he was a fan of the Indianapolis Fever and Indiana University sports.
Tim was a follower of Christ and encouraged others to give their life to Christ Now! Because you never know what tomorrow may bring.
On Monday June 2, 2025, Brother Tim passed away from his works of the world to the reward of eternal peace with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Henderson; father, Wilson Henderson; brothers Dennis Kitchell, and Curtis Henderson; and sister Linda Kitchell.
He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Stephine; his son, Michael Brandon (BAM) Henderson; brothers, Rennis Henderson Sr. and Wilson Earl Henderson; sister, Sandra Pace (Edward); two sisters-in-law, Brenda Kitchell and Lujuan Henderson; one uncle, Jessie Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
