TASHEMA DAVID

Tashema Amyia Johnson David was a bright light for all who encountered her presence.  She gained her Wings on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 36 years.

She was born to Mona Johnson and Anthony Glover on January 18, 1986, at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago, Illinois.  Having moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, she was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School.  She obtained her cosmetology license at Regency Beauty College.

Tashema enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and cooking.  She also had an appreciation for the arts.

Tashema was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucinda “Cindy” Johnson; father, Ralph Johnson and an aunt, Rosa Thornton.

Tashema Amyia Johnson David leaves behind to treasure her memory her daughters, Aniyia M. Johnson and Aaris D. Johnson, and son, Aar Johnson; devoted mother, Mona V. Johnson; father, Anthony Glover; grandmother, Toni Mosley; grandfather, Wayne Glover;   brothers, Tyren P. Johnson, Tyrus D. Johnson, Tyree B. Johnson, Tymani J. Johnson, Anthony L. Glover, Jr. and Ayden L. Glover; tqwo sisters, Jade S. Johnson and Autumn L. Glover; dear aunts, Shalonda Johnson and Angel Dudley; close friends, Nakisha Morris, Kristian White, Je’won Neal and Drena Harris; seven nieces, nine nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
