STEVE L. ALLEN

Steven Lester Allen affectionately called, “Stevie” was born on February 3, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to his parents, the late Wallace and Edna Allen.

Stevie attended Indianapolis Public School #43 and graduated from Broad Ripple High School with the class of 1974. While in high school he played baseball as he did as a child in Tarkington Park.

Stevie was employed at Ford and Kroger Supermarket. He was a member of First Church of Christ Holiness at a young age and throughout his adult life.

He loved fashion, music and sports. He was always cheerful and never met strangers. He would have a smile and a conversation with people; this was his way. Stevie also loved to spend time with his brothers and family on holidays, breaking bread and having a good time.

Stevie was a beloved son and caregiver to his father and mother during both of their illnesses and a loving support to his brother, Greg Allen.

Steven Lester Allen departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on November 1, 2025 at the age of sixty-nine years old.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stevie leaves to cherish his memories his two brothers, Charles Allen and Greg Allen who will always cherish the memories they had with their youngest brother, and a host of other relatives and friends.
