SHIRLEY MALONE Obituary

Shirley Alberta Malone was born on June 30, 1965, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to John Curtis Malone and Luretha Brown Malone, alongside her twin brother, John C. Malone, Jr., as the second set of twins for the Malone family. Named after her mother’s little sister, Shirley graduated from George Washington Highschool in 1983 and was a lifelong member of Riverside Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was passionate about her work with Triangle Associates and was often said to be invaluable to her work family.

Shirley was an avid consumer of all things pop culture. Introducing her nieces and nephews to musicals and iconic movies throughout their lives and creating lasting memories for generations. She enjoyed watching sports and getting into heated debates with her brothers, especially over her beloved Indianapolis Colts. Shirley was known for her big heart and passion for those she loved. Whether it was making a thoughtful care package, getting school supplies, or being a loyal co-pilot on long road trips, she was the person you wanted by your side. Shirley was the main caretaker for her parents in their final days and bridged the gap between families all over the country. She will be remembered as the keeper of all stories and the heart of the Malone family.

Shirley is survived by brothers Angela and Orlin Malone, Sr., Steve and Alicia Malone, Stanley Malone and Sheila Shearer, and twin brother John C. Malone, Jr. and Michelle Boggs, nieces and nephews Orlisha Malone, Tameka and Orlin Malone, Jr. (Kambree), Eboni and Michael Calhoun (Malachi, Emerson, Easton, and Marlo), Warren EnglishMalone (Kenyon, Karizma, and Kamea), Lequisha and Mathew Rice (Carter, Keegan, Connor and Kyler), Erin Malone, Lesley and Colin Gordon (Greyson and Olivia), Dimitria Malone, Rachael and Taurean Scott (Makenzie), Amber Jointer, Patton Malone, and John C. Malone, III
