Shantell Latrese Davis was born on April 9, 1979, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Sandra Davis and Reggie Demus. Having moved with her family to Indianapolis, Indiana, she completed her education in the Indianapolis Public School System.
She completed the prescribed course of study and passed the necessary examinations in the field of nursing, and went on to dedicate her life to caring for others. Shantell worked faithfully as a CNA and in the home healthcare field, where she compassionately served countless individuals in need. She professed a belief in Christ, and became a devoted member of Traveler's Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Shantell had a heart full of love and kindness. She loved to travel, care for others, and had a special compassion for those in need, especially the homeless community.
More than anything, Shantell treasured her family. She loved spending time with them, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and joy that will forever be cherished.
On May 13, 2026, at the age of 47, Shantell departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving son, Daymeion Davis; her beloved granddaughter, Zoey Kendrick; her parents, Sandra Davis and Reggie Demus; and her brothers, Raymone Davis, Earlwane Davis, and Jaydon Davis, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A precious one from us has gone
A voice we love is stilled…
...As long as life and memory last,
We will remember you.
