Her Life Story
Rosa Lee Mack Warren was born on February 22, 1934, in Benoit, Mississippi to the proud parents of Sam Mack and Rosie McNeal Mack.
She completed primary and secondary education in the Mississippi Public School System.
Rosa professed Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized as a member of Rice Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Mississippi.
Rosa moved to Chicago, Illinois shortly after graduation. It was here where she met and married Rev. Jesse Warren. She was employed by the Chicago Transit Authority as a Bus Driver for twenty- five years.
In 1989, Rosa would relocate to Indianapolis to be closer to her family. Upon arrival, Rosa joined Eastern Star Church. She would later move her membership to Light of the World Christian Church.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and all of the family gatherings.
Rosa passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 18, 2024, to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; five siblings, Robert (Mary, deceased), Aaron (Emma, deceased), Willie (Louise, deceased), Sam, and Lizzie Smith.
She leaves to mourn; three brothers, TW (Wanda), Richard (Jackie), and Anthony (Rita), and a host of nephews and nieces. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
