RUTH ELEANOR (BEAMON) TUNSTILL

Ruth Elanor Beamon Tunstill was born on October 3, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Robert Beamon and Martha Beamon Hatchett.

Ruth was baptized at an early age and attended several churches throughout her childhood and adult life.

Ruth completed her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System and later obtained her G.E.D.

Ruth enjoyed reading a good book and watching movies. She also found joy in playing cards with her family. But more than anything she love her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them and going shopping.

Ruth Elanor Beamon Tunstill departed this life on May 10, 2023 at the age of seventy-nine years, five months and ten days. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Charles Hatchett; son, James Robert Tunstill, Jr.; sisters, Karen Hatchett and Linda Hatchett Quinn; brothers, Jerry Beamon, Aaron Scott Hatchett, and Judge Hatchett.

Ruth is survived by her children, Angelo Kirby, Evarina Tunstill (Michael Piper), and Martha Tunstill; four grandchildren, Nirea Rider, Alisha Turner (Sean), Asia Rider, and Kierra Johnson (David) and seven great-grandchildren; siblings; Margaret Hatchett, Rita Hunnel, Kim Hatchett-Otley, Lesley McCaskey, Michael Beamon, Troy Hatchett, and Charles Hatchett; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
