ROMICKA BARBARY

Romicka Deshell Barbary was born on April 3, 1980 in the city of Kokomo, Indiana. She was the daughter of Theresa Barbary and the late, Jamie Banks.

Romicka accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age. She held on to her faith throughout every obstacle she faced in life. She completed her primary education in the Kokomo School Corporation and was employed at various places until her health begin to decline.

“Micka” as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, was full of life and loved all of her family beyond measure. Micka had the biggest heart and would open her door to any and everyone who needed her. And her door was always open to her cousins, especially her younger cousins who loved to stay with her.

More than anything Romicka cherished her one and only daughter, Totiyanna who was her entire world. Romicka will truly be missed by her family and friends.

Romicka departed this earthly life to be with her Heavenly Father, on November 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones and the age of forty-five years, seven months, and one day. She in now reunited with her grandparents, Ambus and Annie Lois Barbary, whom she loved with all of her heart; her father, Jamie Banks; her aunt, Peggy Ann Reed, and her cousin, Elrico Barbary.

Romicka leaves for cherish her memories, her only daughter, Totiyanna Wright; mother, Theresa Barbary; sister, Shemekia Banks; brother, Jamie Johnson Jr., and five other siblings; her uncles, Lester (Heather) Barbary, Scott (Jennifer) Barbary, and Dennis (Ellen) Barbary; her aunts, Gail (Walter) Jackson; Janet ( Pastor Tom) Glenn, Lawanda Barbary, Cindy Barbary, and Sharon Barbary; and a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
