Robert William "Bobby" Lovett, age 67, was born on November 3, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Robert M. Lovett and Chiyo K. Lovett. Bobby departed this life on May 1, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bobby received his education through Indianapolis Public Schools, attending John Hope School No. 26 and later graduating from Arsenal Technical High School with the Class of 1976.
Throughout his life, Bobby was known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He worked as a skilled handyman specializing in remodeling and construction. He also owned and operated a window-washing business and was well known for cleaning windows at Circle Centre Mall and the Hard Rock Café in downtown Indianapolis.
Bobby had a deep love for fishing and enjoyed playing basketball. He lived life on his own terms, embracing each day with gratitude and determination. Most importantly, he found faith in the Lord and worshipped at several churches throughout the Indianapolis area and in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. Lovett and Chiyo K. Lovett; and his sisters, Anita Lovett and Bridgett "Poochie" Lovett.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Ursula Lovett of Houston, Texas; his daughters, Krissy Lovett, Danielle Lovett, Demetria Travis, and Tanisha Lovett; his son, Robert Lovett; his brothers, Tetsunora Kurosawa of Chiba, Japan, and Ron "Pancho" Lovett; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Bobby's life was a testament to perseverance, faith, and independence. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
