PHILLIP WARREN

Philip Tony “Jice” Warren, age 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, departed this earthly life on April 23, 2025, surrounded by love, to enter into eternal rest with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Born on January 2, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Philip was the beloved son of the late William Edward and Doris Bernice Warren. He attended Indianapolis Public Schools #24 and #4 and was a proud graduate of Crispus Attucks High School, Class of 1970, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. Philip continued his education at Purdue University, earning a bachelor's degree in communications in 1974. He went on to continue his studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale from 1976 to 1977.

He dedicated over 33 years of service as a Facilities Manager at the former IUPUI Campus Facility, where he was a valued and respected member of the team.

Philip was preceded in death by his brothers Steven, Robert, and Johnny Warren. He is lovingly remembered by his brothers Jackie Warren and Charles Warren Sr., his former wife and dear friend Diana Glover Warren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many cherished friends.

Philip’s kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. 

Homegoing services will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 starting at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing starting at 9:00 a.m.
