Phillip Lloyd Dalton was born on July 20, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James E. Dalton and Adeline (Helen) Sellars Dalton.
Phillip completed his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School system. He attended Riverside #44 and Emmerich Manual High School.
Phillip was employed by Central State Hospital for several years. He was later employed by Elliott Williams for over twenty-five years of service in 2010.
Phillip was known for his loving warm and quiet personality. He never met a stranger he wouldn’t do anything for.
Phillip loved cooking, fishing, playing cards and walking his fur baby, Diamond Marie. He also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends from the Riverside neighborhood.
Phillip gained his wing on May 1, 2023 at the age of sixty-six years, nine months and eleven days. Philip was preceded in death by both parents; sister, Carolyn A. Sellars; brothers, Vance Dalton, James Dalton, and Robert Dalton.
Phillip leaves to cherish his memory sister, Paula White (Robert, Sr.); two sisters- in- law, Crystal Dalton and Loretta Dalton; his closet nephew, Robert White, Jr. (Latice) and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
