A life long resident of Indianapolis, she completed her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She resided at 1318 North Perishing all of her life, with her parents whom she never left.
She was employed with the Marion County Assessor’s Office where she retired after many years of service.
Paula loved family get togethers and sharing meals with family, especially during the holidays. She also loved sports. She would watch football, basketball, baseball, and track and field on her TV. Just like her mother, she loved her soap operas: The Young and the Restless and As The World Turns, each and everyday of the week.
Paula cherished spending time with her four brothers and three sisters, whom she loved with all of her heart. They did everything together.
Paula was left handed and had excellent writing and reading skills. In her spare time she enjoyed her cross word puzzles and was an avid reader who would read many books throughout the year. She was dedicated to anything she was involved in or supported.
Paula Jean Tracy departed this earthly life on December 14, 2025 at the age of eighty-nine years old. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
