Paul Morris Baker Jr. was born December 28, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Mary A. Baker (Moma Mary) and Paul M. Baker Sr. (Daddy Paul). He departed this life on July 14, 2026.
He was hard-working, dedicated, and kind-hearted. He was known for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and unconditional love for his family. He lived his life with dignity and made a lasting impact on those who knew and loved him. Paul began his career in construction for 20 years and then transitioned to United Technology Carrier, where he gave another 20+ dedicated years before retiring. His final employment was as a delivery driver for Big City Restaurant, to remain active and interact with people.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved Wife, Lavia J. Baker; Children Pierre, Kristy, and Trinity Baker; Granddaughter Jasmine Jackson; Sister Annie Offitt (Susie); Sister-in Law Javia Gamble (Michael); Nieces Michelle O. Allen (Royce), Stacey Y. Moss, and Stacia R. Brown; Nephews Christopher M. Moss, Mark Offitt, Micheal Offitt, and Hezekiah Gamble. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary A. Baker (Moma Mary) and Paul M. Baker Sr. (Daddy Paul); Son Paul Baker III; Sister Paula E. Baker; and Nephews Sherman L. Moss Jr. and Marlowe J. Offitt. Paul will be deeply missed, but will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
