Linda Kaye Edwards was born on February 27, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Ona Mae and Robert, Jr. She was raised on the east side of Indianapolis. She attended Warren Central High School, where she spent her early years growing and building lifelong connections.
After high school, Linda went on to attend nursing school, following in her mother’s footsteps. She later stepped away to care for her beloved son, Darnell.
Linda accepted Christ at an early age and professed her love for Him in both words and actions. She was known for her intelligence, bubbly personality, bright smile, and wonderful sense of humor.
In her personal time, she enjoyed spending time with her family—including her church family. She enjoyed trying new recipes from time to time and being an active participant in the many ministries of her church.
Linda Kaye Edwards departed this life February 24, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory her grandsons, Alexander and Izaiah Daniels; sister, Janis Paige, along with extended family and a loving church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ona Mae and Robert, Jr.; her only son and child, Darnell Daniels (Richelle Daniels), and her sister, Donna Edwards. Though she has departed this life, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
