Ms. KaDeana Renee Nelson was born June 2, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Janice Delores Nelson and Ronald Reed.
KaDeana accepted Christ as her Guiding Light. KaDeana and her children would often attend Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Clyde Posley.
KaDeana completed her primary and secondary education in the Metropolitan School District of Decatur Township. KaDeana furthered her education at Ivy Tech Community College where she majored in Business.
While managing her transportation company K&E Transportation, KaDeana successfully ran the business office for EMC Construction. KaDeana was employed at TKC Holdings when she was called to Glory.
KaDeana presented exemplary courage, confidence and strength. Her smile and her personality would stream light into any room. KaDeana was a caring, loving mother, who was not to be mistaken. She spoke the truth and stood behind it. KaDeana’s presence was always enjoyed. KaDeana embraced motherhood, showing her children love, patience and sacrifice. Her relationship with her children was one to cherish. KaDeana was determined and committed to always encouraging her children to live their dreams. KaDeana supported her children’s dreams in their entirety.
KaDeana enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, and shopping. Her home was beautifully decorated to reflect her personal style.
KaDeana’s presence is going to be sorely missed. All the special moments and memories will be held close to the family’s heart.
KaDeana departed this life on August 31, 2023, at the age of thirty-eight years, two months and twenty-nine days. KaDeana was preceded in death by her lifelong partner, Ervin Crabtree; her parents, Janice Delores Nelson and Ronald Reed, and her grandparents, Mary and Robert James Nelson.
KaDeana leaves to cherish her memories her four children, E’niyah Crabtree, RaKiya Lang, Edwin Crabtree, and Elise Crabtree; siblings, Curtis Graves, Crystal Stokes, George and Nicole Stokes, Ronald Nelson, Cadeshia Nelson, and Camille Nelson, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
