MR. WILLIE WILLIAMS

Willie James Williams was born on March 7, 1945, to the late Wheeler and Rosanna Williams in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Willie attended and graduated from Dennis High School in Bishopville, South Carolina. He was employed at General Motor Corps where he retired after many of years of service.

Willie was married to the late Emma Shaffer. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and barbequing.

He departed this earthly life on May 31, 2025, at the age of eighty years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lillie B. Miller, Princan Williams, and Larry Williams.

He is survived by two sisters, Carrie Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mary McCleod of Dothan, Alabama; three brothers, Wheeler and Robert Williams both of Indianapolis, Indiana and David Williams (Patricia) of Bishopville, South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
