Robert K. Andrews was born on May 29, 1963, to the late Dorothy May (McElwain) France and Taylor T. Andrews, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Robert accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He attended the Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Azure J. Riley.
Robert attended elementary and junior high school at Elder W. Diggs-IPS #42. He also attended Crispus Attucks High School. He later earned his G.E.D. certificate.
Robert was known in the neighborhood as “Big Bob” and to his family as “Bobby”. He was a devoted brother, uncle, step-father, nephew, and a friend to many. Robert was a strong man both in stature and personality. He wasn’t afraid to tell others how he felt, but was always there to support you. Robert had a loving and caring spirit and would help anyone in need. Robert enjoyed riding, listening to music, and watching Western movies and “the stories.” Robert taught so many life lessons and he made sure his loved ones reached their fullest potential.
Robert K. Andrews departed this life on January 7, 2022, at the age of fifty-eight years seven months and nine days of age at his home.
Robert leaves to cherish his lifelong partner, Shawn George; stepdaughters, Kionna Cooper and Christiana George; brother, Alfred L. France, Jr. (Pamela); brother, Donald France; brother, Michael Andrews; step-brother, Tony Hill; sister, Berdina Smith; sister, Terry France-Breedlove (Anthony) and many nephews and nieces, cousins and a host of extended family and friends.
