MR. PRESTON RHONE Obituary
Preston Leon Rhone was born March 10, 1959 in Uniontown, Alabama. He was the son of Mary Rhone Dobbins.
He completed his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System and graduated from Arlington High School.
Preston was an avid gamer and enjoyed playing with his family and friends. He also loved spending time with his family.
He was also a huge fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. Basketball was indeed his favorite sport.
Preston departed this earthly life on October 18, 2021 at the age of sixty-two years old. He was preceded in death by this step-father, Kenneth Dobbins.
Preston leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Dobbs; daughters, LaShae Rhone, LaNae Rhone-Parks (Michael Parks), LaToya Grundy, LaCora Mims (Christopher Williams), Lannette Cleveland; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; aunts, Evelyn Woods, Jessie McKinney; cousin, Terrence Woods, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Perhaps my life seemed all too brief:
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me;
God wanted me now, He set me free.
