MR. MICHAEL LAMONT GREEN

Michael Lamont Green, the son of Carmen Green, was born on June 23, 1977, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He completed his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System, having attended Arsenal Technical High School. Michael also attended Church with his grandmother.

Michael had seven children with four additional children added after he united in Holy Matrimony with Yvonne on May 20, 2023.

Michael or “MG” affectionately called by family and friends was a dedicated and vibrant soul. He embraced life with his energy and creativity. Being the talented being he was, he loved to draw, dance, listen to music, cut hair, and rehab older model cars. His talents extended beyond the stage. He loved helping to care for both of his grandmothers before their passing!

“MG” was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and cousin. His laughter, smile, and love for his family and friends throughout the community will forever be cherished and remembered.

Mr. Michael Lamont Green departed this life on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death two grandparents, one uncle, and two aunts.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Yvonne Green; children, Michael Sansbury, Michyah Sansbury Brianna Green, Maya Mills, My’klean Green, My’kayla Green, Tequisha Kendall, Jerome Headds, Terry Jones Jr, and Dewayne Jones; mother, Carmen Green; brother, John Green (Holly Owens); sister, Lisa Green; nieces, Layla Green and Quincee Owens; two aunts; one uncle, and a host of cousins and friends.
