Mark Christopher Guynn was born to Robert Francis and Mary Elizabeth Guynn on April 4, 1963. His school career began at St. Rita Catholic School. He then went to IPS Eli Lilly School #53, Arlington High School class of ’82 and finished his education at Lincoln Technical School where he earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Automotive Technology.
Mark worked for the United States Post Office and IPS Transportation as a school bus mechanic. Huggies Auto Repair was his main side hustle. He also worked for IndyGo before going on disability. Mark was a lifetime faithful member of St. Rita Church. He was an usher and a member of the Buildings and Grounds Men’s Ministry.
Mark was an extravert. He was the light that lit up a room. His fun-loving personality drew many people to him. Mark never knew a stranger. He welcomed everyone the same, as a friend. He had love for children and the elderly. As he referred to some as his own and watched out for his elderly neighbors. He loved to listen to live music and cut up with family and friends. But mostly, he loved spending time with his grandson.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Robert Francis Guynn and his mother Mary Elisabeth Long Guynn, his niece Telisa Michelle Guynn Spaulding, nephew LaMontae Guynn, and two sisters-in-law’s, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and two nieces, Rashell Annette Walker and Te’ja Lajoi Crockett.
