MR. ERIC WOODSON

Mr. Eric (Ricky) Woodson, the twelfth child of the late Elmer Woodson and Amie (Wade) Woodson was born on June 4, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana where he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Woodson professed hope in Christ later in life.

Mr. Woodson received his education in the Indianapolis Public School system and completed his Vocational education through Goodwill Industries.

Mr. Woodson had a great heart and shared his kindness, love and laughter with all around him.

Mr. Woodson departed this life on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 17 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Amie Woodson; brothers, Elmer (Buck) Jr, Raymond (Buster), Arnold and Anderson (Andy) Woodson; sisters, Susie Johnson, Mona Sanders, Ernestine and Betty Jane Woodson and son Eric Bryant Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory by his children, Margo, Melanie, Margorie, and Harrison Bryant; brother, Earl Woodson (Anita); sisters, Marcella Woodson, Henrietta Pierson; sister-in-law Nellie (Peaches) Woodson; caregiver, Laverne Avery, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
