MR. BRITT URSERY, JR.

Today, we gather to celebrate the life of our beloved father and grandfather, Britt Ursery Jr., a man whose impact on our lives is immeasurable. Britt Ursery was more than just a father, grandfather and friend; he lived a life full of service and served his country. He also served as a private detective and as a pastor. Britt Ursery was a storyteller, a teacher, and a constant source of wisdom and love.

His life was a testament to hard work and dedication. His strong hands, shaped by years of labor, were equally adept at building furniture and gently cradling his grandchildren. His eyes, twinkling with mischief, always held a story waiting to be told.

Britt had a way of making each of us feel special. Whether he was teaching us to cook, sharing tales of his youth, or simply sitting in comfortable silence, his presence was a gift. His laugh was contagious, his advice priceless, and his love unconditional.

Though Britt Ursery, Jr. has left us, his legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the memories we cherish, and the love he shared so freely. We will miss his warm hugs, his words of encouragement, and his unwavering support. Loving friend, father and grandfather Britt Ursery, you were our hero, our confidant, and our guiding light. We are proud to hold your last name and your love will continue to inspire us for generations to come.

Britt Ursery, Jr. departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on December 18, 2025, at the age of seventy-nine.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Britt Ursery, III and his mother, Wilma and his  and Robert Ursery and his mother, Julie; four grandchildren, Jasmine Ursery, Briana Ursery, Marquis Ursery, and Xavier Ursery; great-grandchildren, Levi Jones, Douglas Jones, Jacion Ursery, Legend Jones, Major Ursery, Anthony Bates, Kenzie Hare, Del'Angel Ursery, Robert Harding, Omega Ursery, and Kyriah Ursery.
