MR. ASHLEY DAVIE Obituary

Ashley Lamont Davie, affectionately known as “Ash”, was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on September 28, 1974. He was second born child of Thomas and Phyllis Davie.

Ash began his primary education in the Norfolk Public School System in Virginia. After relocating to Indianapolis, Indiana, he completed his secondary education at Ben Davis High School in the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township, and graduated on June 19, 1995.

First and foremost, Ashley loved God, attending church and helping people. He also enjoyed a variety of sports, but bowling brought him the most joy. Ashley also had a love for music.

Some of his other hobbies included: home cooking, with chicken being on top of the list; shopping and traveling to different places. One of the most remarkable things about Ashley was his perspective about life. If you knew him or ever crossed his path, you would perceive the contentment and peace that he carried.

Ashley was a joy and gift from God. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ashley Lamont Davie departed this earthly life to be with his Heavenly Father on March 8, 2026, at the age of fifty-one years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Phyllis Davie, and a brother, Gregory Davie.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Anna L. Davie (John Lewis), and a host of aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.
