Minnie Ola Wilson Webster was blessed with a long life, January 24, 1929, through August 27, 2025. Minnie lived her whole life in Indianapolis, Indiana. Minnie was the 2nd daughter born to Charles and Martha Crenshaw Wilson.
Minnie attended Indianapolis Public Schools. Minnie was joined in Holy Matrimony to Charles A. Webster in 1947. Minnie’s occupations were as a house cleaner and as a seamstress at L.S. Ayres Department Store.
Minnie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Minnie later joined True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Harris. Minnie loved singing. Minnie sang in the church choir True Vine Ensemble. Minnie attended church faithfully and made sure her children attended also.
Minnie had many hobbies. Minnie knitted, crocheted, and sewed many of her children’s and adult clothing. She also did alterations for men and women. Minnie loved planting flowers. She also loved shopping Minnie could shop for hours without tiring. Minnie loved visiting family and friends.
Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Webster; sons, Charles and Harlan Webster; parents, Martha and Charles Wilson; brothers, Charles and Richard Wilson; sisters, Dorothy Bell, Bessie Robinson, and Patricia Webster.
Left to cherish her life and legacy are daughters, Brenda Kitchell, Patricia Tyler, and Charlene Morgan; daughter in law, Phyllis Webster; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and her extended family.
