Miles Brandon Relphorde was born on February 24, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, the second of three sons born to the union of William Joseph “Brother” Relphorde and Barbara Jean “Dutch” Hoosier Relphorde. At an early age he was baptized in accordance with the Holy Rites of the Roman Catholic Church.
He completed his primary and secondary education in public school system of Gary, Indiana. Miles graduated from Lew Wallace High School.
Miles heeded the call to serve his country in the military. He enlisted in the United States Army, and upon completion of his tour of duty, he earned an Honorable Discharge.
Miles relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1977 to be near beloved relatives family members. He became a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Miles was employed in Environmental Services at Veterans Affairs. In his spare time Miles enjoyed listening to music of various genres and watching movies and TV shows. A doting father, he was a very active grandparent and supported each of his grandchildren in school sports events and in the arts.
Miles Brandon Relphorde departed this earthly life on July 9, 2025, at the age of years 67 years, 4 months, and 15 days.
He is survived by his daughter, Myia Snow (Kerry, Jr.); brothers, Kevin Relphorde and Colin Relphorde; grandchildren, Kaylen Snow, Kerry Snow III, Blair Abdullah Jr., and Marcus Relphorde; niece Greer Relphorde; lifelong friend, Darius Hall.
