MICHEAL E. JONES

Mr. Micheal Estus Jones was born December 13, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mr. James Alfonzo Jones and Mrs. Bernice Radford Jones. Micheal Jones confessed his belief in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church at the age of ten years.

Micheal Jones attended Indianapolis public schools. He earned his General Equivalency Diploma from Lockear College in 1981.

In 1981, Micheal met his future wife, Kathy Robertson, and they were  united in marriage on May 4, 1996.

Micheal Jones was employed by The Chrysler Corporation, over the course of 20 years. He worked in four different plants: Indianapolis, Indiana; Twinsburg, Ohio; Detroit, Michigan, and Tipton, Indiana.

Micheal Jones spent his spare time working on old cars, watching all sports, listening to a variety of old school music, having deep conversations or just relaxing with a good book and chilling with his family.

Micheal Jones was a devoted son, brother, father, husband and friend to many.  He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Mr. Micheal Jones departed this earthly life on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the age sixty-two years, six months and twenty-two days. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mable Fort; his mother, Bernice Radford Jones, and his father, James Alfonzo Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Kathy Robertson Jones; daughters, Latricia Jones, Tiffany Devonish (Carlisle), LaTeca Glass, and Andrenai Nance; son, Michael Bryson (Candace), and Lawrance Holton (Angela); sisters, Gayle Jones, Kathy Barnett, Sherry Johnson, Saundra Jones, and Debra Douglas; brother, Ronald Jones, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, Kentucky cousins, Illinois cousins and friends.
