Michael Lee Robertson was born on January 13, 2006, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Cherise Guerin (Robertson), and Phillip Robertson, Sr.
Michael attended Manual High School where he was pursuing his high school diploma and would later go for a trade in Welding.
Michael (aka Mikey) truly had the heart of a lover. When Michael came into the room, you were always greeted with his big smile. The first thing he would say, is “what are you doing”! Or he would ask, “mama, are you cooking today”! Or when he would come in and say “Mother”, I knew he was up to something. Michael always asked how you were doing, and he didn’t like to leave without saying, “I love you”! Michael would play Tupac’s song, Dear Mama all the time to let me know he loved me, and he constantly told his dad he loved him, and he was trying. He was also a protector, he always wanted to make sure everyone was okay. He truly loved his family and friends and would do anything for them.
Michael had a special relationship with each of his brothers and sisters, he would purposely mess with Chris, twin babies 15 months apart, just to get him roused up and make his day. He would wrestle with David and would let him know he was the big brother, but all out of love. Michael and Phillip Jr. just had their way of laughing at each other and still Phillip Jr. would show him I’m the oldest. He loved his parents, he always wanted to show them that he was trying, and he would do anything to help them. He would make you give him a hug, because that was just him. Michael also loved his Trinia, they were stuck together like glue, you didn’t see one without the other. He loved his family and friends!
Michael departed this life on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 19 years old. He is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, James Robertson, James Motley, Edward Guerin; and his great-grandmothers, Evelyn Guerin and Laura Motley.
Michael leaves to cherish his mother, Cherise Guerin (Robertson); father, Phillip Robertson Sr.; his brothers, Phillip Robertson Jr. (aka Lil Phil), Christopher Robertson (aka Cjay) and David Robertson (aka Dave); his sisters, Riah and Rockell; his grandparents, Pearl and Kerry Paicely, Patricia Robertson and Hervey Guerin; and a host of aunts and uncles and cousins whom he loved very much.
He was only here with us for 19 years, but I promise it was the best 19 years any of us could ask for and he will truly be missed.
