Mary Mosley Leach, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 23, 2025, at the age of seventy-nine years old. Born on July 4, 1945, in a time of great hope and promise, Mary brought joy and strength to all who knew her.
Mary was a proud graduate of Crispus Attucks High School, Class of 1962. It was in that same year she married the love of her life, Leroy Leach Sr. Together, they built a life rooted in faith, family, and unconditional love. Their marriage was a testament to devotion and partnership that lasted through the decades.
Throughout her life, Mary was known for her kind heart, unwavering faith, and fierce love for her family. She poured her heart into everything she did—whether she was raising her children, supporting her husband, or offering a warm smile and helping hand to friends and neighbors.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of grace, strength, and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Leroy Leach Sr.; sons, Leroy Leach Jr. (Sheila) and Anthony Leach (Kelli); grandchildren, Cameron Leach, Payton Leach, Grant Leach, Maxwell McMillan Leach, Erica Brown, Beth Brown, and Mark Brown; siblings, Patricia Burns (Wallace), Clara Finger, Henry Mosely (Denise), Fannie Mae Carver and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
