MAKYLAH BRENT

Makylah Brent was born on July 14, 2000, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Kareta Brent.

Makylah was the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, who were the light of her life. She dedicated herself to nurturing and guiding them, instilling in them the values of kindness, strength, and resilience. Her unwavering support and love will forever be remembered by her daughters.

A graduate of Little Ducklings, CFA, and Arlington High School, Makylah was known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. Many knew her affectionately by her nickname, "Twin 2," a testament to the close bond she shared with those around her. She was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of love.

Makylah departed this earthy life on May, 14, 2025, at the age of twenty- four years and ten days. She was preceded in death by her brother, Karon Bruce; grandfather, Willis Brent. and her bonus father, Keith Williams.

Makylah is survived by her loving daughters, Ta'riyah Brent, Ta'miyah Brent, and  Bra'miyah Penick; mother, Kareta Brent; father, Jermaine Gaddis; her twin sister, Makaylah Brent; grandmother, Ruthie Brent; three uncles; one aunt, and a community of family and friends who will miss her dearly. Her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.

In this time of mourning, we celebrate the life of Makylah Brent, a remarkable woman whose love and warmth touched the lives of so many. May she rest in peace.
