Linda Diane Bogan Watson affectionately known as “Sweetum” was born on July 3, 1954, to Margaret Gold in Greenville, Mississippi. She attended Indianapolis public schools, including Arlington High School. Linda lived her life with joy, laughter and a spark that brightened every room she entered. A true enthusiast of fun and connection, she never missed an episode of Family Feud, and she could often be found cheering on her favorite football team, The Indianapolis Colts with an unwavering spirit.
Linda had a competitive streak and a sharp mind, two traits that she passed on to her children. Whether she was playing cards with family or friends, strategizing over a game of chess or testing her luck at the casino, she did it with her signature smile and a glint in her eye. Boat trips were another of her great pleasures.
Linda will be remembered not only for the passions that she pursued but for the warmth she shared so freely. Her love for life was contagious and she leaves behind a legacy of laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories.
