LINDA FLEMISTER

Ms. Linda Ruth Flemister was born to the proud parents, Idell and Ruth Flemister on February 18, 1960 in Monticello, Arkansas.

Linda was educated in the Indianapolis Public School system. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, California. She worked for the Los Angeles County Probation department. She retired after twenty-seven year of service and returned back to Indiana to be with family and friends.

She was affectionately known as “Red” by siblings and friends and “Auntie Linda” by her nieces and nephews.

Linda departed this life on May, 15, 2023 at the age of sixty-three years old. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Idell and Ruth Flemister; sisters, Madell Givens and Sarah Cornett; brothers, Dell L. Flemister, Sr., David L. Flemister, Sr., and Howard O. Flemister.

Linda leaves to celebrate her life four sisters, Zella Womack, Barbara Smith, Carolyn Wilson, and Angela Flemister all of Indianapolis, Indiana; three brothers, Ray Flemister of Los Angeles, California, Conzole Flemister (Karen), and Cornell Flemister (Felicia), both of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, best friend, Kim Brandson Jacks, and goddaughter, Lovey Brandon.
