Mr. Kurt Carnell the son of the late Willie Oscar and Cora Lee Carnell was born on December 8, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age at Good Samaritan Baptist Church.

He was employed at Emrich Products (Pickle Factory) and his last place was at Somerville Construction Company. He worked at both places for a number of years until his health begin to fail him.
Kurt was a man whose presence could light up any room. His love for his family was the foundation for everything he did. He lived life with style, heart and spirit that welcomed everybody he met.
Kurt was the proud father of two children whom he loved very dearly. His son, David Lamont Carnell, and his daughter, Kurtina Nicole Carnell who preceded him in death.
Kurt loved sports and enjoyed the simple pleasures of playing cards and checkers, which were two of his favorite pastimes. Whether he was laughing with friends, competing in a game, or cheering on a team, Kurt brought energy and excitement to every moment.
Above all, Kurt looked out for his brothers and sisters. His loyalty to his family was unwavering and he carried that responsibility with pride. He protected, supported, and loved them deeply, leaving behind memories that will forever be cherished.
