Kenneth Leland Turner, Jr. was born on November 18, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kenneth was the youngest of four children born to Kenneth Turner Sr. and Anita Turner who preceded him in death along with his older sister, Sandra Turner Stone.
Kenneth dedicated his life to Jesus Christ. Kenneth attended Indianapolis Public Schools #26 and #53. He also attended Arsenal Technical High School.
He and his friends loved playing basketball at Washington and Tarkington parks. Edwin P. Stone Jr. often speaks about how great he was on the courtyard.
Kenneth was the epitome of goodness and he loved all people in ways that made them feel they could conquer fears.
Our brother and friend Kenneth Leland Turner, Jr. will be sorely missed. The laughter, helping, cooking and good spirit he shared was unique and heartwarming.
Although he had no children of his own, he was considered a father to many.
We celebrate his life and the love that was shown to everyone. His love unites all of us. We will all meet again someday and that gives us comfort and joy.
Kenneth enjoyed his time here on earth and now it is time for him to enjoy eternity with God. Don’t cry for he is in heaven now and at peace.
He is survived by his two sisters, Virginia Turner Jackson and Joyce Turner Heathcock and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins along with the loving relationships of Edwin Paul Stone Jr, Keith Stone, Edna Stone and Lela Medrais, who were just like siblings to him.
Kenneth enjoyed his time here on earth and now it is time for him to enjoy eternity with God. Don’t cry for he is in heaven and at peace.
