KATHY SHIELDS Obituary
Kathy Denise Shields was born on April 23, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of Robert Spears and Rebecca Tinner.
Kathy received her primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public School System. She completed her studies at Arsenal Technical High School.
Kathy was full of life and enjoyed cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family. Kathy had a loving spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kathy departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at the age of 66 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Spears; mother, Rebecca Tinner and brother, Gerald Shields.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Tina Marie Shields (Kevin); granddaughters, Laquida Shields (Jerry), Iesha Shields Nolen (Alex), and Sherika Shields (Desman); grandsons, Robert Shields and Dontae Shields; twelve very special great-grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Smith and Rebecca Maxine McGill; brothers, Milton Dawson, Jr. and Lonnie McGill; special cousin, Teresa Williams; longtime friend, Joaquin Tucker, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
