Julius Keith Reid was born June 25, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Honorable Reverend George H. Reid and Sister Georgia L. Reid. Julius was the fourth child of his parents, who were faithful members of the Israel of God’s Church.
He attended Northwest High School here in Indianapolis. Upon graduation in 1975, he signed into the United States Army. In 1979, Julius was Honorably Discharged as a Staff Sergeant.
He believed that it was important to take care of the mind, body, and spirit. He inspired others to research and learn how to add years to our lives by consuming God’s nourishment for our natural bodies.
Julius assisted in caring for his grandfather, The Honorable Reverend Jesse James Moore as well as his parents. Julius was loved by all who met and knew him, and he will truly be missed.
Julius Keith Reid passed away on August 27, 2025, in Silver Springs, Maryland. Julius was preceded in death by his grandfather and his parents.
He is survived by his brothers and sister, Terrence H. (Deborah) Reid, George E. Reid, Cheryl L. Reid, William D. Reid, David W. (Rosie) Reid; special friend, Ayaba Bey; along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
