JOYCE BRENTS

Joyce Elizabeth Brents was born on May 2, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the daughter of the late Raymond Dunlap, Jr. and Maebelle Dunlap.

Joyce graduated from Crispus Attucks High School.  She was a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved serving the Lord with all of her heart.

Joyce enjoyed shopping, spending time with family and friends, going to the casino and caring her garden.  She also loved going to church, making jewelry and most of all going fishing.

Joyce was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. She will be sorely missed.

Joyce departed this life on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age of seventy-three years old.  She will now join her parents; her son, Kevin; brother, Raymond and sisters, Rachel and Jeanette.

She leaves to cherish her memories her two son, Johnathan Johnson (Ivy); daughter, Billie Jean Manson; sisters, Judy Griffin (J.C.), and Robyn Vaughn; brothers, Jeffrey Dunlap, Keith Dunlap, Danny Dunlap, and Harry Wayne Dunlap (Roxanne); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
