Joann Marie Jones was born to Wilbur Hardin and Joan Taylor Hardin on August 19, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She received her primary and secondary education. After graduating from high school, Joann chased her dreams to serve in childcare.
Joann Marie Jones was baptized in accordance with the Holy Rites of the Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Rita Catholic Church parish.
Joann, affectionately known as “Jojo”, loved family events. She was truly the life of every party she attended. Every time Joann entered an event, everyone called her, “The Pepsi Lady.” Her favorite color was red like cherries. She also loved food going shopping with her sister Evelyn Walmart. “Errybody” knew she would bring the Pepsi
She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Joann Marie Jones departed this earthly life on October 6, 2021, at the age of sixty-six years one month and eighteen days.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Anthony Jones, Sr.; two children, Jasmine Jones and Anthony Jones, Jr.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Hardin, Arlene Hardin, and Evelyn Hardin; two brothers, Kenneth Hardin and Michael Hardin, and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
