JANAY LEAAN DANIELS

Janay LeAnn Daniels, was born August 13, 1983 in Inglewood, California to the joy of John Leroy Daniels and Patricia Ann Manuel at Centinela Hospital Medical Center. She was the first born of two siblings and the first born of her extended siblings.

Janay attended Gardenia High School in Gardenia, California. While living in California, she gave birth to her first son, Jalin John Jackson in Inglewood, California at Centinela Hospital Medical Center on April 9, 2008.

Janay later moved to Indianapolis in 2016 where she spent her time caring for family and friends. She was a dependable and self-reliant person, who would later give birth to her second son, DeShawn Christopher Daniels in Indianapolis, Indiana at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital on February 27, 2020.

Janay will be remembered as a dependable person that anyone could count on. She was a fast talker with a heart of gold. Her laughter and smile could light up a room. Her humor and outspoken nature made her unforgettable. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Janay LeAnn Daniels received her call to heaven June 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James Daniels, Sr. and Willie Mae Daniels; maternal grandparents, Jessie Lee Manuel, Jr. and Velma Lee Manuel.

She is survived by her parents, James Leroy Daniels and Patricia Ann Manuel; her sons, Jalin John Jackson and DeShawn Christopher Daniels; siblings, Meyah Daniels, Tameka Daniels, Jacarie Daniels, Jayla Daniels, and John Daniels; her nephew, James Anthony Wallace; her niece, Jaliyah Lee Fields; in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins that will cherish her memory. Janay will always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed.
